Sourced from 400 small, family-owned farms, Velvet Bloom embodies the best of Guatemala’s Huehuetenango region, where high-altitude farms and nutrient-rich soil create an ideal environment for cultivating bright, flavorful coffee.

Many of these farmers cultivate their coffee on just 2-acre plots, often intercropped with corn and beans for sustainability. Since individual processing infrastructure is limited, they partner with Unitrade Coffee, a centrally located wet mill that ensures careful handling and consistency.

Beyond coffee, Unitrade supports CoffeeCare, an initiative providing education, nutrition, and healthcare for farming families—ensuring that while parents tend the harvest, their children have a safe place to learn and grow.
